Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Real-Time Data Research Center
There are twelve (12) federal reserve banks in the US. The Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has a navigable website, and is actively involved in public education activities. The Philly Fed’s Real-Time Data Research Center “produces macroeconometric analyses and collects and maintains a variety of data sets” (e.g. CPI, GDP, GNI) which make it a great resource for researchers, and analysts.
Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Report
The Pepperdine Study is an annual comprehensive survey of private capital market segments. Completed under the direction of Craig R. Everett, assistant professor of finance at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. The Study is an important source of information for private capital market required rates of return. The Pepperdine Study collates and summarizes the lending behavior of senior lenders, asset-based lenders, mezzanine funds, private equity groups, venture capital firms, angel investors, privately-held businesses, investment bankers, business brokers, limited partners, and business appraisers.
